Terms and Conditions

Making Your Reservation
Once you've made the right decision to vacation with Zoom Travel, a deposit of $100.00 per person ( or $400 OR sometimes more than that if there is some kind of specials deals going on ) will be due within 7 days after booking, or no less than 3 days before departure for late bookings. Additional deposit may be required for holiday travel, peak periods and promotional sales. Upon receipt of deposit, your tentative booking becomes a confirmed reservation. Payment in full is due 45 days prior to departure. Bookings made less than 45 days before departure require immediate payment in full. Be sure to make your payments on time as we cannot hold reservations beyond the payment deadlines.

Payments
We accept the following forms of payment:
(1) Certified check, Money Order or Agency Check
(2) Credit Cards: American Express, MasterCard, Visa or Discover Card.

Documentation
Documents, including tickets and vouchers, are mailed First Class 30 days before departure or within 3 business days after receipt of payment in full. For bookings made less than 45 days in advance, optional Federal Express delivery is available for a charge of $15.00. Always check your documents for accuracy upon receipt.

Late Bookings
Bookings made 14 days or less before departure will incur a $25 fee to cover additional expenses to process reservation and expedite documents.

Revisions/Changes
Once payment has been received, a revision fee of $15 will be due per booking each time changes are made to a reservation to cover administrative costs. If a revision requires re-issuance of an airline ticket, a minimum of $75 per ticket will be due in addition to the revision fee. A fee of $100 is due for a lost ticket. Certain airfares do not allow changes of any nature.

Cancellations
To minimize penalties, please advise us immediately should you wish to cancel a confirmed reservation. In this event, you will receive a full refund less the following charges:

Additional Charges: Depending on the tariff, from $75.00 to the full amount of the airfare may be forfeited. Hotel penalties often apply, and the amount varies by hotel. Cancellation penalties may vary depending on travel dates and hotel, due to certain hotel cancellation policies and airfare tariffs. Penalties up to the full amount paid may apply over holidays, peak periods and promotional sales. Cancellation insurance is highly recommended.

Refunds
No refunds can be made for unused services or inclusions. All tickets and vouchers must be returned before a refund can be issued. Please allow 4-6 weeks for processing refunds after notifying us to cancel reservation


Important Travel Information

Travel Insurance (Optional, but Strongly Recommended)
Travel, health and accident, baggage and trip cancellation insurance is available. Unexpected circumstances can occur at anytime, anywhere to anyone. A sudden emergency just before or even during your vacation may force you to cancel or interrupt your trip. Should this occur, the last thing you need to worry about is the money you could lose. We strongly recommend that you protect your vacation investment with low-cost travel insurance. We normally use Tripmate Insurance Company thru out tour operator http://www.Tripmate.com

Entry Requirements
U.S. citizens must present one of the following items at airport check-in as proof of citizenship: valid passport, naturalization papers, certified copy or original birth certificate with photo identification. The airline cannot board any passenger who fails to carry proper documents. Unfortunately, we will be unable to make any refund due to your failure to bring the proper documentation. Entry requirements vary by island and may change during the year. Please consult your travel agent and verify the proper documentation well in advance of your travel dates.

Families Traveling with Children
Reduced airfares are available for children under 12 years old traveling with adults. Children may also stay free or receive special hotel discounts when sharing a room with full-paying adults. Ages and policies vary by hotel. Infants under 2 years of age fly free (departure taxes additional), provided the child does not occupy a seat and sits in an adult's lap. Additional bedding such as rollaways and cribs are not included and if available, are payable directly to the hotel.

Baggage
Normally all ailrlines OR Air Jamaica allows each passenger to travel with two checked bags (maximum weight 70 lbs. each) plus one carry-on bag (maximum weight 50 lbs). Additional baggage may incur excess baggage charges.

Not Included in the Package Price
Porterage at airports, tips to sightseeing guides, and unless otherwise indicated, tips in restaurants, to hotel bellmen and chambermaids; items of a personal nature such as laundry, phone calls or any items not specified as included.

Airline Responsibility
The Conditions of Carriage in use by the airlines concerned shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines and the purchaser of these tours and/or vacations. The airlines concerned are not liable for any act, omission or event whatsoever, that occurs during the time the passengers are not onboard their planes or conveyances. Liability of the airlines for loss, damage or delay to baggage does not exceed $9.07 per pound up to a maximum of 44 lbs. for checked luggage and $400 for unchecked baggage or personal property.
AIR JAMAICA VACATIONS has made arrangements with the airlines, hotels and other independent suppliers to provide the services and accommodations in connection with your vacation. AIR JAMAICA VACATIONS, its associated or affiliated companies, their agents, servants and employees, shall not be liable for any claims, actions, cause of action, injury, damage, loss, delay or expense arising out of the actions or omissions of these independent suppliers providing services including, but not limited, to transportation, hotel, food or sightseeing services over whom we have no direct control. In the unlikely event you should have a dispute with any supplier, we will do our best to assist in resolving the matter.

Please understand that we cannot accept responsibility for loss, damage, delay or inconvenience, whether physical or emotional, resulting from factors beyond our control including but not limited to Acts of God, weather, mechanical breakdowns, labor disputes or strikes, disturbances, force majeure, sickness, pilferage, quarantine, acts of terrorism, government actions or the failure of any aircraft, watercraft or other means of transportation to depart or arrive as scheduled, or for your failure to obtain valid documents or your failure to follow instructions.

We cannot accept liability for loss or delay of your luggage or personal property, loss of enjoyment, loss of pay, emotional distress, upset or disappointment resulting from the actions of any independent supplier or from any factor beyond our control.
