The extensive treatment menu is partially derived from Mayan

and Aztec rituals. Personal Spa Valets help you awaken your

soothing aromas and mystical music. Treatments are performed

by experts, using products selected in part for their

relevance to the climate and conditions of the Yucatan. Many

products used are mixed locally or even on the premises,

using such organic, indigenous ingredients as blue corn and

Caribbean ginger and citrus honey.

Guests are invited to arrive an hour early to experience Yhi

Spa's unique "Water Rituals" hydrotherapy circuit. This path

leads you from a series of heated and scented massage showers,

down a water path of heated stones and eventually outside to

the spa therapy pool where you can linger on an underwater

massage chair overlooking the ocean until it is time for your

appointment to begin.

Spa facilities include: a gym with state of the art equipment,

hydrotherapy zone with sauna, steam baths, hydro-massage pool,

relaxation center for facials, body treatments and massages.

Volleyball is popular on the beach. Spinning, yoga, Pilates

THE LIVING ROOM

"The Living Room" located on the 10th floor, is a private

lounge that offers private check-in and check-out. It also

serves as the social center of "The Level" where guests can

relax and enjoy signature cocktails, continental breakfast,

a state-of-the-art home theater, computer work stations,

wireless internet service and a personal Experience Manager.

EXPERIENCE MANAGER

The complexity of the "Experience Equation" (The Music, The

Physical, And The Intangible) demands the presence of a

"Master of Ceremony" in the Me Cancun by Melia. This special

individual understands the vision and is capable of

masterfully orchestrating the factors above. Some define it

the "Director of Culture", others the "Brand Ambassador", we

call it the "Experience Manager". The "Experience Manager"

is responsible for contacting guests prior to arrival to

ensure that their stay will be stress and effort-free and

caters to guests every whim for the duration of their stay.

Conducts a daily walk-through to build rapport, assesses

guest satisfaction, develops relationships and promotes

repeat guest business. Evaluates and adjusts overall guest

experiences, listens to comments, criticism and feedback,

based on interaction with guests in lobby, bar, and public

areas, to gain an understanding of strength and opportunity

to improve personal/hotel performance. Resolves and responds

proactively to any guest needs that have arisen and is

always looking to fulfill guest's expectations. Inspects

public areas a minimum of 3 times per day monitoring music,

video, temperature, lighting, and scents. Makes alterations

as needed, also inspects the product (rooms, outlets,

amenities) to ensure adherence to standards. Reviews and

develops guest history records to enhance personalized

service for repeat guests. Coordinates daily VIP

requirements, including list distribution, room inspections,

amenity placement, welcome letters, gifts, guest escorts and

more.
